I began my work as a psychoanalyst and a psychodynamically-oriented psychotherapist in Vienna, Austria, which is also where I was trained and where I completed a master’s degree in psychotherapy science. Before moving to Slovenia, I had lived, studied, and worked in several different countries including the United States.
The observation of people’s behaviour in an effort to make sense of and adapt to my changing external environment was one of the factors that led to my growing interest in understanding the psyche, and the ways in which we are influenced by drives and impulses beyond our conscious control. My own personal training-analysis was highly rewarding and transformative, and I was eager to try to help others explore, overcome, and thrive.
